Welcome Irene Ros

We are happy to announce that Irene Ros will be joining our team to work on JavaScript visualizations, open web software and training.

Irene comes to Bocoup from IBM, where she worked on the Lotus Notes team early in her career. Most recently Irene spent three years at IBM Research’s Visual Communication Lab where she worked as a open web technology data visualization research developer. In her role at the research lab, Irene used technologies like Ruby and JavaScript to build numerous data visualizations.

Irene is excited to continue working with and start contributing to Dojo, Raphael.js and other open JavaScript tools in her new position here at Bocoup. Irene will also be jumping right in to start contributing to our HTML5 For Business Intelligence Programmers training curriculum with Darius.

We are thrilled to have Irene on the team, and look forward to creating great work together. Be sure to follow Irene on twitter at @ireneros, and stop by Bocoup to ask her about building visualizations with Excel Charts.
